Mikko Leppilampi

30 years on corporate and event stages, and decades as host of Finland’s biggest live TV broadcasts. That combination tells, at once, both about public recognition and about the experience a corporate client is actually paying for.

The wider public knows Mikko Leppilampi above all from television, but most of his professional career has been built around corporate and live events. Mikko has been on corporate stages since the age of 17 — long before the Theatre Academy, television, and an acting career. Corporate events are not a sideline for him: they are the foundation of his whole career. In that work he grew into a professional, learned to read audiences, understand clients’ goals, and build occasions in which every moment serves the whole.

On television Mikko became known to the whole country already as a young actor. He hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki in 2007 with Jaana Pelkonen and afterwards hosted several of Finland’s most popular entertainment programmes, including Tanssii Tähtien Kanssa, Tähdet Tähdet, SuomiLOVE, and Talent Suomi. He hosted Tanssii Tähtien Kanssa for ten seasons with Vappu Pimiä, and the Sunday-night format that drew millions of viewers confirmed him as one of Finland’s most trusted live hosts.

In Mikko’s case it is not only about a radiant performer: he is a full part of the production. He does not arrive through the green room straight onto the stage, but wants to be involved in the project from the first metres.
