Mika Aho is one of Finland’s most experienced data and AI strategists. Over a career of more than 20 years he has helped hundreds of organisations use data and AI to develop their business — creating new services, streamlining processes, and building AI-ready organisations.

Mika Aho is a speaker and an experienced data and AI leader who has worked at the intersection of business and technology for more than two decades. He began his career in data analytics and data warehousing in the early 2000s, founded Louhia Analytics in 2016, and made a successful exit in 2019. After that he served as lead AI strategist at Silo.AI before founding Data Design Oy — an AI-native consulting company that combines strategic advisory with the practical delivery of AI.
Mika has experience of more than 30 large-scale data and AI roadmaps and of facilitating data and AI accelerators for more than 100 companies. He has worked across industries including media, manufacturing, retail, finance, and health technology. His clients include Sandvik, Neste, Schibsted, Anora, Metso, Solar Foods, KONE, Mandatum, and Nokia.
Mika’s strength is the ability to act as a bridge-builder between business and technology. He helps leadership and specialists work together towards concrete results — combining strategic insight with practical delivery. He has also been involved in building dozens of data platforms and AI solutions that have produced measurable business value.
