Nelli Såger

Nelli Såger is a change leader, engineer, and serial entrepreneur. She has lived in Silicon Valley three times and built her career as a hands-on practitioner of demanding transformations, across health technology, organizational change, and individual behavior change.

She has co-founded two health tech companies. The latter, Fifth Corner Inc., developed a science-based wellbeing and performance platform together with Jamie Oliver, was selected for the 500 Startups accelerator in Silicon Valley, and was acquired by Hintsa Performance in 2019. She is also the co-author of The Book of YOU (Penguin Books, 2015), translated into ten languages.

At Mehiläinen, she led the development and commercialization of digitally supported chronic care pathways. The work was recognized with the Vaikuttavuusteko 2022 award in the societal impact category. Most recently, she served as CEO of Ellun Kanat, a leading Finnish change agency.

In her talks, Nelli bridges two worlds of change: behavioral science research on how people actually change, and firsthand experience of leading organizations through major transitions. Values-driven individual change and organizational change leadership follow the same underlying principles. Her focus now is the structural shift brought about by AI. What does it require from companies, leaders, and people, when the whole world is navigating the same wave and few benchmarks for success exist yet?

Nelli speaks Finnish and English, and has worked as a speaker and moderator since 2013.
