Johannes Karjula is a speaker who helps audiences see where a strong customer experience comes from, and why the people who recommend you are one of the most underused resources in a business. His talks rest on research and on customer-feedback data gathered from thousands of organisations across industries. Johannes has probably seen more customer-experience data from Finnish companies than anyone else, and it shows in his ability to turn separate data points into a whole that people understand and want to act on immediately.
Johannes is the founder and CEO of Trustmary. He started as an entrepreneur in digital marketing and in 2016 founded Kokemuksia.fi, which grew into Trustmary, an international software company that helps organisations collect, analyse, and use customer feedback. He was named Young Entrepreneur of Central Finland in 2019, and he has worked in several growth companies, boards, and management teams.
Alongside customer experience, Johannes trains people in time management and how to use a calendar. The human brain was not built as a to-do list. It was built for thinking and creativity, and still many people try to hold dozens of tasks in their head. In his masterclass, the calendar becomes a reliable servant instead of the master: a two-list method separates recurring routines from ad hoc tasks, every piece of work is given a place in the calendar, and the illusion of multitasking is dropped. Hundreds of participants have used the method to get a healthier grip on both their work and their free time.
As a speaker, Johannes is clear, practical, and easy to follow. He combines personal stories, observations from data, and concrete ways of working so that the talk stays with people and encourages change. The talks suit events where the aim is to understand the value of customers more deeply, to develop customer experience as a strategy, or to take time back into one's own hands and raise recovery to a new level.
